Glamorous Wedding Shoot at the Historic Cavalier Hotel
Inspired by the art and 1920's architecture of the luxurious Cavalier Hotel, Maria of Everly After Events dreamed up a styled shoot that combined both vintage and modern elements. Every vendor went above and beyond and brought their distinct interpretation of her vision to create magic. From the moody floral arrangements and bouquet created by The Hanging Gardens VB to the Vespa grand exit this shoot is sure to inspire the modern bride to incorporate vintage charm into her big day.
Our contribution to the styled shoot was a elegant and fun dessert installation. Framed by a floral balloon garland, this was no ordinary dessert buffet. The stately centerpiece was a four tiered drip cake with fresh coconut ruffles and an array of gold lustered berries sitting amongst decadent chocolate ganache. Each plinth held a variety of sweet treats. From "cake"sicles to truffles, donuts topped with edible rose petals and cupcakes dressed with 24k gold leaf this display was my interpretation of the vintage and modern theme.
