Spring 2025

Spring weddings are all about renewal, joy, and fresh beginnings, and dessert tables can play a huge role in setting that mood! Recently, we revisited a styled shoot at the enchanting Kellam Estate, beautifully photographed by Deline Photography. This particular shoot, with its Easter-inspired palette and whimsical desserts, feels perfect for spring 2025 inspiration.

A Spring Palette to Remember

For this shoot, we crafted a stunning bias relief cake in soft Easter hues of light teal, lavender, and pink. It was surrounded by desserts like lavender and light Easter egg green cakesicles, adding a touch of fun and charm to the table. One standout treat was the nostalgic Watergate salad verrines—desserts that not only looked beautiful but brought a bit of vintage flair to the occasion.

Though the Pantone Color of the Year for 2025 is the warm and earthy Mocha Mousse, spring brides who love traditional Easter palettes will find that these pastels bring their own charm and timeless beauty to a wedding aesthetic.

How to Incorporate Spring Vibes into Your Wedding Desserts

If you’re dreaming of a spring wedding in 2025, here’s how to use desserts to capture the essence of the season:

1. Play with Colors, Traditional or Trending

The beauty of 2025’s Mocha Mousse is how it complements a wide range of colors. Pair it with blush, lilac, or mint to create a spring palette with a modern twist. Or, if Easter hues like light teal and pink are more your vibe, embrace the classics! Both options will look amazing on cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.

2. Choose Seasonal Flavors

Spring is the season of fresh and delicate flavors. Lemon, lavender, strawberry, and even honey-infused treats are perfect for this time of year. They add a lightness to your dessert table that’s as refreshing as the season itself.

3. Create a Variety of Desserts

Dessert tables are more than just a cake—they’re an experience. Cakesicles, macarons, and mini dessert verrines are great additions that look stunning and allow guests to sample a variety of flavors.

4. Add Whimsical Elements

Fresh flowers, edible blooms, or sugar florals can instantly elevate your cake and dessert design. Pair them with soft greenery or pastel accents for a look that’s both romantic and timeless.

5. Presentation is Everything

Your dessert table is the centerpiece of your reception! Use pastel linens, vintage stands, or natural touches like moss and birdcages to create a display that wows your guests.
